I used to love this show! Love that Tracy was "trained" by Bob Burns. I would not have recognized the relevance of that as a kid! And is it just me or is the Dracula here very similar to Jon Pertwee's vampire in The House That Dripped Blood?

There was another similar show called Far Out Space Nuts with Bob Denver which was very much like Ghost Busters - but obviously the Sci Fi version.

Thanks for sharing!

They just don't make cheap shows the way they used to!

Hah! I had no idea either. Cool. Weird 70's stuff, but cool.

I remember this. It's pretty odd seeing it now. I can picture a racy Adult Swim version.

In an interesting side note, the owners of the rights for this show, Filmation, wanted to cash in on the success of the Ghostbusters film in 1985, so they rushed an animated series into production. This led to a lawsuit, as Columbia Picture's TV division already had their own version based on the movie in production. In 1986 the lawsuit was settled, with Columbia's being released under the title of "The Real Ghostbusters", while the other series was christened "Filmation's Ghostbusters".

Oh, yes, yes, yes! I watched this every Sunday morning as a 6 year old. I LOVED this show, as I already had spooky inclinations at that age.

I only have the vaguest of memories of this! Wow! Great find.

I guess they needed something after "F Troop" went off the air!

I have the series on DVD autographed my pal Bob Burns who was the gorilla. He is super nice. He allowed me to see and handle his prop collection including the King Kong armature, a part off the Time Machine, and some stuff from Alien. I had the honor of repairing the Robot Monster helmet for him as well. I even have photos.
