Oh my gosh this is very exciting. I was hoping there'd be one of the Big Toe, but not yet :(

Yessss!!! that big toe is so scary on a few different levels. random toe in your garden, cannibalism & revenge!!!..that dude wants his toe back!!!!brrrrrrr

i've always loved the ribbon/neck choker story. the devouring obsession that destroys the husband's happiness. i always visualize him slowwwwly unraveling the ribbon right before her head rolls across the floor, crying out, i do you so. i want to see someone's interpretation of that!!!

Rot..the scarecrow story IS SO you. SO scary what happens to that guy's little bro. but yeah, he is a Vandal soooooo. : D

ahhhhhhh...they're all So scary & great!!

Toes are disgusting.........

I'm not afraid of ghosts, but if I saw ghostly toes or feet hovering above me I'd be the first one screaming.

Actually I agree, girl6. The scarecrow story IS for Rot. In fact yesterday when I saw your header, Rot and then saw the story headline, I actually thought for a split second the two were related. Like, you had done a piece of artwork for it. Then I realized it was Johnny Appleseed.

And yeah the ribbon neck story is classic!

Yeah Sara. you're totally right. Rot has given life to so many scarecrows with each Halloween. there's kinda, actually, a version for everyone to choose from as their favourite companion to the scarecrow story (if they wanted to)

man & that click in pic for this post is REALLY disturbing to me. looks like Popeye was skinned alive or somethin, ahhhhhh scary!!!!

& Jay..i beg to differ on toes being disgusting. some are not the prettiest, some are gorgeous & some are just kinda dumb looking, maybe, a little eww too, i'll admit, but a lot of that is because people don't take care of their feet. if you keep your toenails short, groomed, use a toe brush to clean em when you shower & maybe a nice little black polish pedicure, they can look Fab!!! BUT...foot fetish people bother me, because like with ANY fetish...you will always see the ugly side of someone, the side you should never see. you end up seeing like that drunken side of them with the shakes, laying in the gutter & licking the insides of beer bottle caps, hoping to catch a buzzzzz. did i exaggerate? nope. Fetishes always turn ugly.

hmmmmmm....i wonder if there is a foot fetish horror movie & how cool, if it turned out to be found footage too!!!

So Jay...spring & summer are coming on with a vengeance. find a good pair of Roy Orbison's, to pop on over your eyes, so you be spared...T O E S. : )
or give Mrs. Shadow, a nice little pedi, you may be surprised!!!

Still may favorite books! And of course In a Dark Dark Room, too. I love the tribute art, so neat! Have to admit, I thought this BuzzFeed take on the Green Ribbon story was pretty funny: https://www.buzzfeed.com/lyapalater/for-everyone-thats-still-fucked-up-over-that-stor?bffbmain&utm_term=.obq4OVqAy#.mxoP7z5ZQ
