Hopefully, this is OK to post (and the hyper-ugly link actually works)
Strangely, there really just aren't too many places where I think it has any chance of being appreciated, but this might be. :)
Anyway, a couple of Halloweens back, while doing some haunt work, I got lucky and got some closeup shots and SOME VIDEO(!) of this wonderful little orb weaver spinning her web right smack in the middle of the haunt as it was all going up around her:

I'm not any kind of photographer, but I feel like she made up for my ineptitude that day, and they're some of my favorite pictures / video ever.
Beautiful spider and I love that it happened in the middle of your haunt.
It's corny, but I'm still kind of jazzed about it...it felt like she was signaling her approval, or something.
