Love those retro Beistle cut outs. Where did you find them?

Happy to report that you can get these directly from the company

Though it looks like you have to create an account on their site.
BUT Amazon has a Beistle store as well...though it's the biggest ugliest link ever...
I did a search for Beistle vintage halloween

**Friday Morning Ramble Over Coffee**

That Beistle skeleton is just one of my very favorite decorations of all time. It feels like it used to announce Halloween's approach like nothing else outside of actual pumpkins.

Once upon a time, it seemed like it just magically appeared on every other teacher's classroom door on October 1st and was the harbinger of the season.

As pointed out, Beistle has it and a lot of their classic decorations available on their Amazon store, which are just a hoot to peruse.

But, if one just wants to just get right to it, and is willing to employ the oh-so-banal internet search term 'Jointed Skeleton Party Accessory', Google should offer the 55" version up as the top result, and it's about $10 (shipped) from our Amazon Overlords.

It's simultaneously wonderful that it's essentially unchanged, still so accessible, and will just show up at your door, while being a tad disappointing that the most nostalgia-inducing decoration would be found so tightly correlated to the most commodified and blandest possible terms instead of terms more befitting of its status. Also, Morris looks amazing in black and white!

SOOOOOO well put. That skeleton truly was a comforting presence each year as it appeared. Everyone seemed to have that one in my old neighborhood. A perfect and classic and spooky design, with excellent coloring. Just perfect. I too remember it hanging in my grade school...a thought that seems strange these days, as I can't imagine that guy hangs in any school where young children might actually see it.

I definitely remember seeing them at my school when we were kids, and that was at a Catholic school. You'd never see that now I'd bet. Seeing things in black and white just brings back a flood of memories of what Halloween was like when we(I) was younger.

B&W feels like moments frozen in time that you can tuck away into your memory. The witches are especially wonderful with this treatment.
