Local Displays Abound

Walked up and down some streets in the area last night.  So silent, with the scent of smoke in the air.

The Blow Mold house...camera couldn't capture them properly.

The Creep

When you mention to your friend that you bought a new fog machine, and they suggest an inside test run with adjacent photo shoot...  preferably a photo shoot featuring glowing eyes.

Thanks again, Wren!  A fine idea.  And the fog machine works like a dream.

Cave Of The Demon 2018

2018 was the Demon's Last Stand.  One of my all-time favorite Haunts.  I've featured it many times and am sad to learn it is no more.  But oh, what a run it had.  

Never saw anything like it.  Glowing red eyes...conduits and tubing...  rats, body parts, cages, TNT, and bones...  industrial grunge.  

Here's to the Cave of the Demon...

Cave Of The Demon

I love that there are kids in this person's neighborhood who must talk throughout the year of going to the Demon House on Halloween night.  This is becoming an annual feature and I love it.
May this guy always turn on the demon eyes and turn his porch into a strange techno-creepy tunnel/cave.

Always great when I'm flipping through flickr.com and I see those red eyes...it's becoming an annual tradition.

I see a lot of people beating themselves up over keeping the same elements in their Haunt year to year, though I've never seen any problem whatsoever with that.  When I was young, I'd set out on Halloween night HOPING I'd see the same stuff I loved the year before. 
So change is not necessarily a good thing in the world of Yard Haunting.
