Alien Teeth Experiments

Years ago I had the greatest dentist and I got to know the whole staff and was really comfortable with everyone who worked there. So on a visit for a cleaning, I joked with the hygienist that she should write in my file that she discovered evidence of microscopic scar tissue on my gums and signs of possible alien implant holes drilled into my teeth. She wrote something on a small piece of pink paper and dropped it into the file. YEARS later, I moved to a different state and got a new dentist. That office actually asked for my dental records and the old dentist office was happy to send the folder to them. Seems odd now thinking back on that. Why not just call the office and ask for the most recent date of an x-ray?

The records got to the new office before I had my first appointment. So when I actually did get in there for my first visit, the dentist took out a small piece of pink paper. He asked me about it... I asked to see it. Written on the paper "Patient believes he has alien implants in his teeth."

Haunted Slough 2010

Artist Marianne Sexton's Haunted Slough.
This just blew me away. Every year I wait to see her photos and every year I'm stunned at the scope of her display. It's pure Halloween magic.

Beautiful scenes and design. Just incredible in every way.

And the creator herself...

These photos aren't on Marianne's site yet, so I'm super thrilled to be the one presenting them.

The Ghosts Of Halloween

Where I hung out during the candy hours of Halloween night.
This street is amazing. Every house had their porch light on and a real jack o'lantern on the premises. Two girls on roller skates floated by laughing. Each in a white ghost-sheet costume. I tried to steady my camera against a parked car to get this shot. You can see them in the distance.

Magic.

Undead

There wasn't a sign of life left, except... by now, there were no more screams. I realized that I was alone, with fifty or sixty of those things just... standing there, staring at me! I started to drive, I - I just plowed right through them! They didn't move! They didn't run, or... they just stood there, staring at me! I just wanted to crush them! And they scattered through the air, like bugs.

Haunted Eve 2010

Another amazing year for Haunted Eve - the haunt that almost wasn't.
In a new location and on a wet, cold, and snowy Halloween.

Goodbye, Jenny Greenteeth

This was shot in historic Washington's Crossing, near a small tributary feeding into the Delaware River. The water was slow-moving and kinda stinky. She got so saturated with the skunky water that I decided to leave her there (and she looked really at home there). It rained three days after the shoot and I'm picturing her getting washed down and out into the Delaware River, and someone finding her on the banks, and calling the police.

Or worse.
