Where I hung out during the candy hours of Halloween night.
This street is amazing. Every house had their porch light on and a real jack o'lantern on the premises. Two girls on roller skates floated by laughing. Each in a white ghost-sheet costume. I tried to steady my camera against a parked car to get this shot. You can see them in the distance.
Magic.

I wish I had the same experience; we only had about five groups of trick or treaters... it was completely dead.
What street is it?
Aye, there was magic about. In the air, and the earth of that night. Sometimes, you just have to get out into Halloween, to feel it.
Liberty Street.
This is actually similar to our street this year! Lots of ToTs about, many in traditional witch, ghost and vampire costumes! It was fantastic!
I need to tuck away that idea: skates! That's cute and very ghosty. :)
I am really glad you got to experience a good old fashioned night of ToTing in a wonderful neighborhood. Hopefully it refreshed you guys for the coming year!
The neighborhoods I drove through were magical as well and you'd be happy to know that the old filming locations of the original Halloween were packed with ToTers, and houses were beautifully decorated with old school haunt stuff and there were hundreds and hundreds of kids about, all in costume. Just like I imagine that neighborhood to be like in the days of Laurie Strode. Heck, even Laurie Strode's house was packed. That street in particular!
:) Can't wait 'til next year!
Magic is quite hard to catch with a camera :) Well done!
Cheers!
did you just tell me where you live?
Actually no.
You asked the name of that street. Which is quite a good drive from where I live.
damn
