Undead

There wasn't a sign of life left, except... by now, there were no more screams. I realized that I was alone, with fifty or sixty of those things just... standing there, staring at me! I started to drive, I - I just plowed right through them! They didn't move! They didn't run, or... they just stood there, staring at me! I just wanted to crush them! And they scattered through the air, like bugs.

Cool, reminds me of Michael Myers in the headlights at the insane asylum or hospital (whatever it was).
You are basically the sole reason I'm staying awake at work today. I'm having a serious post Halloween crash. I feel like I could sleep for a week.

Great shot. These are really great zombies.

On a side note, did you watch The Walking Dead and what did you think?

Rot said...

Ha! Grim, I planned that! Good eye.

I dragged by brother with me on that shoot. When we pulled up, a helicopter was floating over and tons of deer were running around in that empty lot. Very end-of-the-world. But we didn't set up in time.

Didn't watch The Walking Dead yet...we recorded it though. Did you watch it? Did you dig?

GoneferalinID...happy to help : )

I thought it was pretty decent even though it was kind of rushed in the beginning. Definitely wasn't cheaply done, kept me interested all the way through. I'll have to get used to the drama parts of it.

(Me no likey drama, but love the Zombies!)

That shoot looks like a lot of fun. VERY Michael Myers/ Loomis showdown. Sweet.

Does your brother think you're crazy or does he do his own haunt thing?

Rot said...

I think he thinks I'm somewhat crazy, but enjoys helping out.

We both started out haunting together. Then he kinda outgrew it and went on his healthy un-obsessed way : )

i'm so in the blow-my-brains-out category if the zombie apocalypse over happens. Those are super scary.

I'd be in the shoot-myself-in-the-heart category. I kind of like the idea of me coming back.

fight till ya get bit....then, who knows!

Yeah I watched the Walking Dead. I agree the beginning is a little rushed and I'd have preferred to see more of the apocalypse happening. But so far the characters are well done and well acted (except for at the very very beginning), and the zombies seem pretty well done too. Overall I think it's a good start.

I agree with rot. if you shoot yousself in the head, you can't come back as a zombie. I would make a mean zombie. That is the same reason why I never, EVER want to be cremated. Cause groundbreaker rotting cemetery zombies are WAAAAYY cooler than the one we get nowadays.

I'm telling you man, I really love the on location shoots more and more. This one is such a great in the moment shot... like you just screeched to a halt and are about to start backing up.

I have read every bit of the Walking Dead and that fist episode was pretty spot on. I think they have done a fantastic job capturing the pages, and the acting was very good. I really hope this show takes off in a big way.

I'm in the fight to the death category. I live in the south (where everyone is packing) so I'm pretty shure my area will become zombie free :D and rot, don't become a zombie! I don't want to take a .50 cal to your head!

I would only allow myself to get bit by a zombie if I could also get simealtaneously bitten by a werewolf and a vampire! I'd be the most badass ghoul ever!

Oh...and great pics, Rot!

LOL, I'm sorry but I had to literally laugh out loud at these comments.

This is such a boy conversation ;).

Growing up with three brothers, I'm surprised I haven't gotten into more Zombie discussions. I wish I was more of a zombie person, but for some reason I can't get into it. Hm.

LOL@ Sara! Yup, it's pretty much a dude conversation! Not a lot of chicks discuss zombie plague survival. Of course, when the zombie apocalypse DOES happen, at least you'll know that some of us are prepared! ;-)
