The Great Pumpkin Massacre

You'd think the Great Pumpkin would have spared Linus, the only one who truly believed.

I bet he was killed first.

Yeah I think so too. Linus was the only one who truly believed in him.

What else did they expect from the Great Pumpkin?
Silly to expect gifts from the very symbol of such a dark holiday, wasn't it?

And they all deserved it - those nasty girls for being so mean, and Linus and Charlie Brown for being such saps!

They could have spared Snoopy, but he *was* going on and on with that war story...

Rot, have you ever seen the Robot Chicken take on Great Pumpkin? It's pretty much in this vein! I actually featured it on my blog in October:

I think you'll get a kick out of it!

i think of the great pumpkin as an almost Cthulhu-like entity, he would probably spare none and his believers would be the first to go...
