Gnome Door Project Update

It's gone.

Remember the gnome door from 2011?

We checked on it once in 2012 and it was still there.  We visited the location this weekend and it was gone.  Judging from the downed trees and branches, it looks like the area was hit really hard by the Halloween hurricane, so I'm thinking the wind and heavy rain washed it away.

Below:  The abandoned gnome home.

Maybe the rain poured down through the top of the stump and forced mud and debris and stump gunk out through the gnome doorway.

That sucks.

I just watched a news report last night that someone did the same thing in Florida.

I loved that project. I'm sure it was mother nature.

that little white door is Truly enchanting...
it's like something right outta a "christopher moore" novel, his "pine cove" series.

speaking of nature...
i bet little hands had something to do with that door vanishing too, like little "bandito raccoon hands"
they are very capable little critters...
oh the havoc they are Capable of...
