Jurassic World

It hasn't been a secret that Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment have been trying to make a Jurassic Park 4. Nor is it a secret that way back in 2005 they were tinkering around with a JP4 story that would have seen cloned dinosaurs created with a mixture of human DNA, thus giving us terrifying new creatures that were part dinosaur and part human.

I hope someone else makes this concept into a film.
I find that first sculpt more terrifying than any dinosaur.

Holy cow! That is freaking scary. I love it. Had no idea that this was idea was even proposed. I'm assuming that this isn't happening in Jurassic World? I do know that some of Jurassic World was being filled at the abandoned Six Flags Amusement Park on the outskirts of New Orleans earlier this summer :)

And they could totally be suits. And do the force perspective thing like Peter Jackson did with the hobbits in the LOTR films

Those are seriously creepy. I thought I saw a teaser released a year or two ago for JP 4 with Willem Dafoe in it. I can't seem to find it anywhere though.

I actually had no idea they were tinkering with an idea like that and it gives me chills. I so dig JP. I'm waiting to show it to my son, though. Still too realistic (it holds up well I think).

But a human/dino combo??? GAH, so creepy! LOVE it!

Life was so much mellower before the human/dinosaur hybrids were unleashed. *sigh*

Yeah, could you imagine that coming right at you? Ugh.

I think this would be a pretty decent movie if done right. NO CGI.

I had read about an actual evolution theory way back when, that involved a smarty pants dinosaur called the Troodon. It was one of those what if dinosaurs never lost their reign of the earth and humans never came to be theories. Anyway, the end result was something similar to those drawings.

Agreed. That could be super creepy.......as long as they didn't go too crazy with the CGI. Makes me think of Underworld and how scary the werewolves were BECAUSE they weren't CGI. Really makes a difference.
