Home Goods 2014

Some photos from the local Home Goods.  Not too thrilled with this year's designs.  Hopefully some more traditional decorations hit the shelves.

There's FINALLY a Home Goods by my house! The ceramic pumpkins look great as do the wax vintage looking jack o's :)

Whoa! Your HomeGoods is leaps and bounds ahead of mine! I went this past Sunday, they were JUST beginning to put it out.... I saw some things in those pics I am definitely interested in! Thanks for the sneak peek ;)

My local TJ Maxx and craft stores haven't inspired me yet. Perhaps I am just spoiled? I don't pull out my wallet anymore unless an item is very high quality, unusual, and perfectly in line with my aesthetic (witches and fauna, not so much the skulls or gore). I actually found a few really cute things at Pier 1 last year.

I bought three signs at Homegoods on Sunday and some battery-powered candles for my lanterns. Awesome metal lanterns, I might add, that I got on super-clearance from Michael's just a couple of weeks ago (about $5 each). I feel extra triumphant over them because Michael's now has about the crappiest STYROFOAM lanterns in the Halloween section for--I believe--$12.99! Did you catch that? They're Styrofoam!

BTW, I'm loving those little wax retro jack-o-lanterns in your last photo. They didn't have those at my store.

Still slooooow at my H.G. Yeah, i'm not digging the shiny glass pumpkins trend.

Diggin the ceramic & wax pumpkins as well.

Did they have any headless horseman stuff? Both of our statues broke last year :(

i like the little dudes in the last pic, they're a nice "modern" homage to the old time paper jacks.

Very Martha Stewart-ish. Not spooky enough, although it looked like there was lots of yummy candles!
