Whoa! I literally listened to this last night, and thought about posting the Svartsinn track! I finally read The Road last year and both tracks really feel like they were taken directly from the pages. Great release!

that's crazy.
i was lamenting that there needs to be more Dark Ambient music like the old Raison D'Etre and all the Kammarheit stuff so I did a search to find similar works... I love Svartsinn, so it was cool to see them involved in this. The Road was SUCH a depressing film. Didn't read the book, but Bean did and loved it.

I haven't seen the film yet, although I have heard it is faithful to the book, so it's on my list. Be sure to check out Svartsinn's "Of Darkness and Re-Creation." Great dark ambient, similar to Kammarheit. I need to check out more Raison D'Etre, too...

This sounded great. I just can't get enough of the dark ambient stuff ever since I have been introduced to it by you.

I'm not much of a reader, so of course I look for a movie version. I saw The road was done by the same author who did "No Country For Old Men", which I LOVED the movie. So I will be hunt for "The Road" to watch also.
