Now Watching: Black Christmas

Getting in the holiday mood with the incredibly atmospheric [and truly terrifying] Black Christmas, directed by Bob Clark (A Christmas Story).

Watched this about 3 weeks ago.

Need to make it a annual Christmas tradition.

Totally an annual tradition here.

It's more than just a horror film.
It's well made, well written, well directed, scary, funny in spots, and so unnerving and troubling.

I love this movie, I will watch it one dark lonely night very soon. Yesterday I watched Krampus and every time I do, I have to point out your snowmen to whoever is watching with me.

One of my all-time favorites, that gets at least one viewing every Christmas season (last year, on Christmas night, I did a double-feature of this and Krampus, since my best friend was over and he'd never seen either!). I just discovered that the local Alamo Drafthouse is having a screening this Friday, hosted by Joe Bob Briggs! Unfortunately, it sold out before I even heard about it! I'd love to see this one on the big screen!
