This was always an annual favorite when I was a kid, and the Halloween commercials make this really something special. Never thought I'd be happy to sit through commercials.

OK, that was a real treat. :)
I bet I haven't seen that since the early or mid-80s, and as much as I HATE commercials as a general rule, I sat through all of those for the pure nostalgia of it. (that Toys”R”Us ad was absolute perfection)
BTW- is it just me, or is that a really well-designed cemetery they had there?
The artwork in this special was phenom.
I agree about the cemetery. So much detail...especially in the city shots too.
Those were some good commercials. I Love the Kooky Sppoks one and the Freddy Kruger 1-900 hotline one. I might call it…
