Mr. Jones

Been a while since I've watched this film.  Oh, the memories.  Currently living in the past and it feels fine.

Click below for a fun scene (and the full movie [don't tell anyone])...

I bought this film primarily because of your contributions, and I wasn't really expecting to like it since I had grown so weary of the whole "found footage" subgenre. I wound up actually loving it, because it subverted so many of the associated tropes. The flick was actually really clever in the way it played with your expectations. I need to watch it again...it's been a long time.

thanks for buying . haha

For me, this film gets better and better every time I watch.
And I totally would still say that if I hadn't worked on it. : )

Like Gill-Man, I bought this many years ago, because I was excited your work was involved. Then I fell in love with it. When I watched it again recently, I was reminded of how well made it is. It isn’t the typical found footage, it’s much smarter. Which is something that contributes to the negative reviews. People don’t get it, because it isn’t what’s expected.

Thanks for buying! ha
And I agree with you.
People wanted horror and they got something very strange and Lovecraftian-almost.

TOOO funny.
Hopefully she loves Cherry Hill, NJ - that's were the horror convention is.
I was going to see if she wanted to go to a Perkins. You have those out in CA, right?

Rot, for we Do NOT have anything called “Perkins”.

Too bad. The chicken fried steak is great.
Though you'd probably steal the sugar packets...or the creamers (my mother used to fill her purse with these things).

How. Dare. You.

Lol!!!!

Good one.

For the record, I’ve never stolen sugar packets! Is that an East Coast thing??

Rot said...

How DARE you make an East Coast hasty judgment based on the actions of my poor mother!

Hahaha. Is it an Italian thing??? Lol
