Witchy And Wild

Things of the earth,
Beetles, shards and wings of moth
And snail houses left
From last summer’s wreck,
Now spring smoke
Of the burned dead leaves
And veils of the scent
Of some secret plant...

- Jean Garrigue

Getting the garden in shape.  We got some spooky beauties today at a local nursery.  Looking forward to seeing how the garden evolves this year.
Hopefully Dark and Brooding.

Reminds me of the fun witch's shops in Salem, MA with all the various dried herbs.

Nice, especially the iris.

Garden looks good. I was going to suggest getting some Monkshood aka Wolfsbane but it looks like you might already have some. I grow it myself..with varying success. You should check out https://www.gothichorrorstories.com/category/witches-garden/witch-garden-feature/witches-garden-plants/

Actually don't have any Monkshood! So I really appreciate that link! Very cool stuff there.

This is so wonderful! I cannot WAIT to see how it turns out. Makes me want to go order seeds. -Oh Bad- sigh.

Btw have you seen the velvet black nasturtiums? They could be fun if you don't mind them crawling all over things.

I have not!
And I totally wouldn’t mind. Haha
