Bill Richter's Halloween

Click below for some pretty wonderful Halloween magic.

Seeing something like this brings me back to the Haunts of my youth.  Rubber masks and cardboard coffins, bloody cleavers hacking away at long-dead victims...  high art hidden under schlock.  And everywhere you look the overwhelming sense that Halloween is something these folks absolutely cherish, and completely understand.

Mr. Haunted Eve here. I would like to think that we met the criteria of the statement in the Instagram post that "The world needs more Bill Richters." As long as we live in our current house/neighborhood, we're going to keep on doing what we've been doing. We may be relocating within the next several years to a different state where we currently own a townhouse due to employment changes that occurred out of necessity in 2019. The 2020 pandemic put the kibosh on plans to permanently relocate by 2021/2022 and "remote working" became the norm rather than the exception. Both Mr. & Mrs. Haunted Eve have very elderly parents whose health declined significantly since the pandemic began. So that situation has also put permanent relocation on hiatus.

Covid remapped EVERYTHING. I really wish you a ton of luck with those plans.

And I definitely think the Haunted Eve haunt meets the criteria. I'd personally be intensely depressed if I didn't see your annual photo gallery come the season. Each season until I croak.
Then you have permission to cease. ; )

My father was basically one of these guys around that same time (or at least had aspirations)

On the occasions they visit during the season, I get a real kick out of him wandering around the haunt knowing that he planted the seeds :)
