The final nightmarish scenes from The Black Hole are below. Imagine seeing this as a young child at a friend's house, on a VCR. His family is sitting in the living room, excited that a Disney film has just been brought home from Four Star Video at the local strip mall. Surely, it'll be just like Star Wars.

Kudos, sir...a spoiler alert on a movie originally released in 1979!
With that said, and not wanting to mess with anyone's viewing, I still feel compelled to state that Maximilian Schell ending up in Maximilian's shell will always be funny to me.
Horrifying, but funny.
I watched it!! My DH went along with my exuberant pleas to watch this with me knowing that it isn't the best of Disney fare. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the ending. A bit slow at times, but it was fun to see the special effects of the era. Definitely glad I saw it.
