Neat information about the wonderful ghosts seen at the end of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. Those were the inspiration for my short Ghost videos on my site:

I shot those by pulling a ghost prop away from a camera, then played it back in reverse and in slow motion and fooled around with the levels and the clarity to make it blurry and ghost-like.

Nice find. I always loved the ghosts in that film! I figured for a lot of these kinds of ghostly effects, shooting them in water made the most sense because of the sort of graceful flowing that's needed. It makes me want to try making my own ghosts this way, to edit into some video. :)
Your second video looks slick, how the face doesn't really come in to focus till the very end.
