Halloween North

My favorite television program of all time.
Proudly have watched and own every episode of Northern Exposure.

You know, living in Washington State during that time, it felt like you had to take sides. Norhtern Exposure or Twin Peaks. Being oh so hip in my early 20's, I decided that Northern Exposure was just a weird rip-off of Twin Peaks and ignored it.

Gimme Agent Cooper and the dancing midget!

20 years later, I know I was wrong and I realize I need to go back in time and devour the entire series.

I have had people tell me they are jealous that I will be able to experience it all at once, without having to wait for weekly installments or endure horrible commercials.

I haven't done it yet. I guess I'm waiting for the perfect snow storm to keep me home or the 2nd coming of David Lynch to convince me that he still has something else more powerful under his sleeve.

Maybe I'm scared I'll love it as much as everyone else did, and I'll lament (even more) about the days when TV was inventive, and creative and didn't rely on things like people getting married because they won a contest or winning money for eating bugs.

Listen to me.. I might as well move to Florida, hike my pants up to my armpits and start complaining about the government full time. I'm old.

That was a wonderful show. I had the biggest crush on Fleischman!!! Thanks for the flashback.

I can't believe someone else likes this show! I used to have a MAD crush on Maggie.

Tell me how anyone could not love this series....the piano catapult is one of my favorite scenes - ever!

"It's not the thing you fling, it's the fling itself"....that comes up a lot in prop making when prop "mistakes" get "flung" into the garbage can :) Have I mentioned that the graveyard crew are a little strange :D

Cheers!

The best! That Halloween episode is a classic with "Evil Joel" aka Jules. And Joel in the jail cell with Freud. Classic, nothing has ever come even close.
