In the corner of the yard, we found two pumpkin vine sprouts from our pumpkin graveyard from last Halloween. Bean was clearing the area to make way for our new pumpkin patch (fingers crossed) and she found a snail. I haven't seen a snail in years. Probably decades. So I slowly dropped table salt on his shiny wet skin and .... Nah, we treated him like a little garden prince.
I left the photo large so you could see lots of snail detail.
Those are old pumpkin seeds behind him.
