That vortex laser illusion is amazing coming out of the mouth of that tree. What I would not give to get up there and see that in person.
I caught the top 10 show on The Weather Channel Monday. I am very impressed with his haunt.

Same here, wicKED- our dvr of TWC coverage was truly impressive.

When is Travel Channel going to do something substantial on Haunted Overload? Way past time for that imo.

Damn. Makes me want put my tail between my legs and pack up my little haunt....

Don't ever think that, Jay's Shadow. Where I grew up haunts of any kind- large, small, in between- were anathema, verboten, non-existent, call it what you want.

Every haunt is a great one, period. The enthusiasm behind it, the work that goes into it, is beyond golden.

And it all actually looks EXACTLY like that when you're there.

I NEED to see it in the new location.
Going to shoot for next year.

I just got out of Haunted Overload about an hour ago, and it was amazing. They still had trouble scaring me (I'm really.... REALLY hard to scare.) But MAN it was BEAUTIFUL. Totally worth the trip.

Oh believe me,I have ALOT of fun doing this and I would never give up doing a haunt.

I could be in a full body cast and still be out there trying to put something up. :)

I (FINALLY) went there last weekend! It looked just as cool in person as in these gorgeous photos. However, in person, everything was HUGE. The enormity of the designs, set deep in the forest, is so impressive. At one point, I realized, before looking upward, that I was gazing at the SHIN of that large clown!
Incredible craftsmanship too: carved trees, jackos, scarecrows--all beautifully, artistically done. Lots of little shacks and mazes, all made with log-cabin-type walls, colored light seeping in between the cracks as you walk in the darkness...
Absolutely original, totally handmade, organically creepy haunt! LOVED it. Thanks for recommending it, Rot. :)

This is what i am trying to get to with the Haunted Garden. Huge enormous characters, lots of light and big props. I used to design raves, so it was very similar except everything was hanging in the ceiling. I am in awe. I wish i could drive to NH for this.
