Omg...these make me want a bigger home with a fireplace...but...i think I can make my little cottage work with some of this decor. Love the pics!!! Someday I will have my older then old and historic home...and then....Yeah...it's all good!

I think the last one is my favorite..a simply spooky branch with crows. It's only missing a "Rot" lighted pumpkin.

Beautiful! Your selections are some of the best, of course, but I also like the one with the old shutters hung up and the one with the vintage plastic jack-o's. Wish we had a fireplace/mantle.

The first and last are definitely my favorites. Simple and elegant. The cobwebs on the other add too much clutter which makes the scene a little distracted looking.

We're definitely upping our game on the inside this year and these are great inspiration.

isn't a mantel the perfect scene setter, especially for halloween? even in places i have lived without a fireplace, i try to recreate a mantel look as a focal point in the room/house. here is last year's macabre mantel in my own home (thankfully, the fireplace was already there):
