Bleeding Masks

We saw a Bleeding Pumpkin mask at a Walgreens tonight.  So I looked it up on youtube to see it in action.  Could only find the Scream version, but man is it cool.  You pump the blood through a tube which runs down the arm into a weird little soft heart that you squeeze over and over again in your hand.

Where were masks like this when I was a kid?  Though that certainly would have ended in complete and utter disaster.

Click to watch it in action:

I've owned two of the bleeding ghostface masks! They were totally cool. Until your parents noticed a leak.

Surprised you didn't know about them.

yeah. I'm surprised I never saw any kids wearing them before on Halloween night.

They had 'em when I was a kid. I had this one, which was really cool:

I, too, am surprised you hadn't seen these before. They've been around for years (at least in my neck of the woods). I remember wanting them really bad as a kid, but could never find one to fit what I wanted. It was always the ghostface or skeleton mask. They needed more variety.

YEARS?

More like decades. These are practically old school these days.

I am glad you didn't know about these. Let's me know your yard will never look like you just robbed a "Spirit Halloween" truck.

Ha, yeah. exactly : )

So strange I've never come across this in all of my searches...that's kinda strange.

Uhm, I am now feeling super old. I'm pretty sure these weren't around when I was kid, and I'm only 31....

1998 isn't that long ago really.
a glorified decade basically.

time flies i guess & always feels either longer or shorter than real time does..
