Awww yea. I was in Michaels the other day, and they continually get worse every year. Glad to see Home Goods pics up some slack. We are headed to Yankee Candle today for their "party", at least its something to power me through summer.

I think we're sitting it out this year.
Gonna hit up some other stores to see if they have anything out.

When we hit the lottery, we will open the best Halloween store on the planet. Open only when we feel like it. ;)

it'd be the BEST shop.

I would be there FOR SURE! It was decent this year. Selection kinda sucked but it was pretty well done.

FINALLY!! :] Sheesh, I'm so pathetic; I've been calling NY-area Home Goods like, every other day asking if they put their H'ween stuff out yet. I did see some stuff at the nearby Michael's, but it was kinda disappointing (looked like the same merch as last year).

PS I would happily invest in the Bean+Rot Halloween Store. ^_~ Hell, I'd also work there for free.

I would of been opening their boxes to see what was inside.

Can I have a job at your store when it opens? I'll try not to play with the Halloween goodies.....

If YOU win the lottery? Ha! If I win believe me, you'll be getting the "How'd you like to open THAT store?" email. Just so's I can shop there...when its open of course.

Adam, I wish I could say the same about our YC. The displays were small with hardly any merchandise. Honestly, if you didn't already know that it was a launch party....you wouldnt have been able to tell =(
I want lights! Fog! Creepy music and the people that work there to look like they're into it!

Anyway, I'm all up for the Rot & Bean Halloween store. I'd work there for sure....but only when I felt like it ;-)

(That is a seriously fantastic idea!!)

DUDE! I want to work at this place. Can someone in this twisted group of people please win the lottery so this place becomes a reality and I can quit hocking cell phones for a living and hating my life. Really this would be the greatest thing ever.

I'm gonna need some time....

I think this store will need ambient horror music performed live by a cloaked figure inside a modified confessional near the back of the store.

Rot said...

haha
shaping up to be the BEST (weirdest) store EVER.

Oh Jon Glasset, that is SO old school silent film days of you.<3
:)

*the music was always played live
during the theatre viewing of silent films.
