The Skull Witch

Applied layers of tattered cloth last night.
I'll add some more tonight and then get her ready for painting.

Thanks, man.

Usually I paint a prop entirely black before moving in with a brush, but there's a lot of nice color already on her so I'll probably just skip the black spray paint this time around.

Going to do a photoshoot with her outside when she's done.

Rot,

Is this something new you're exploring, showing a piece in progress? If so, thanks! This is terrific. Always great to see a work of genius develop. ;>

(If not, sorry I've missed the others; I'll have to dig thru this site a little more then)

Being able to peak behind the curtain a little helps develop the creative juices. Thanks again.

Something new.

Going to be doing some really detailed how-to's for the Haunt Theory project...

Her hands are perfect. Those long, boney looking fingers are the stuff nightmares are made of.

I'll be looking forward to seeing your Haunt Theory project How-to's =)

I agree with the countess! Those fingers are just deliciously wicked looking! Probably more than any other "how to" question, I want to learn how you make the hands for these critters!

I cannot wait to see this finished! (altho' I'm quite enjoying watching the process evolve) thanks for letting us watch! very cool

Thanks

Those fingers are actually made of bent grapevines from a craft store wreath. They're pretty sturdy even if bent to the point of cracking. So you can form them without worrying about them snapping in half.

It has been very cool watching this evolve; have you ever considered making a time lapse video?
