I wanted to film her hanging from a tree with a backdrop of a creepy field or something, but the back porch will have to do for now.

brilliant work rot! love the rustling noise created by the blowing wind on her dress. creepy as hell.
I was going for an Old School feel so the design is a little different than going for an accurate body.
Dave the Dead of theshadowfarm blog suggested black plastic tablecloths from a party supply store. So I picked up two, shredded them, and glue-gunned them to the body.
Key to a wind ghost or witch is having the body hang with the head tilting forward. That way it'll always face into the wind when the breeze catches the fabric.
That music is awesome! What's it from? Oh, and the prop is kick-ass too!
That's the first track from the soundtrack to Halloween 4.
Some of the BEST Halloween scenes in a movie are in that film's opening titles.
I'll have to wait 'till after work to look at your video. My work computer is crap.
Very cool! I really like that.
(I'm still looking for that rural ruin....
amazing, I love the face, beautifully executed.
Chilling. The wind really brings her to life.
I love how delicate and detailed her face is. Very errie.
I agree, Rot, H4 has great opening scenes. It is the first Halloween movie I saw as a child, scared the crap out of me and I wanted more! Those scenes really are the epitome of Halloween for me. The corn fields, the Jack o Latern decoration, the simplicity of it all.
Thank is so cool! Even the wind chimes make it creepy!!!
