THIS LOOKS ASTOUNDING! It brings me atleast a shred of faith that not all movies have to be loaded with CGI and they can still feel "touchable", like in the vein of "Labrynth or "Dark Crystal". I will most definitely be seeing this.

Hey, on a random note. What are your feelings on the over abundance of clitter and "bling" added to Hallween decorations within the past few years. I was in Home Goods and noticed WAY to much of it. There would be these great vintage looking designes and then they would add glitter to them. I couldn't help but think what your opinion on this would be. Just way to damn gauhty for my taste.

I think glitter has done some serious harm to Halloween decorations. I get its appeal and its place, but someone fell asleep at the glitter switch the last few seasons. The HomeGoods stuff is so strange due to the quantity of it. I think glitter led to sequins which lead to beads... the skulls with beads for hair are the strangest things I've ever seen.

I don't get it. But I guess people buy them or they wouldn't make more, right? Just strange.

Anyone live near a Gordmans? They are currently selling Bean's pumpkins from Primitives by Kathy.

It's like "Jersey Shore" took over Halloween and The Snooki Fairy puked glitter all over everything. I love the return of old school rustic looking stuff nowadays , but when they add glitter to it it defeats the point.

Also, where are and Gormans? Do you know of any in NJ?

Nah...It's a chain like HomeGoods, but it's out west somewhere. Some nice folks emailed letting me know they found them in the stores.

Very cool.

Hoping HomeGoods one day carries them.

I live near two Gordmans (Idaho) so I'll take a peek this weekend and see if there are any. I'll take the camera.
