Inspired by you? Which, is probably like 70% of all Halloween props out there at this point. :)
I really like the folksy vibe with the pumpkin head.

Clearly you should be entering *this* contest instead. Right?:)

Totally should have been a part of this contest. : )

Wow! I looked at them...and thought, gee, these look really familiar!
Um, yeah...(coughs out) rip-off.

...not that these aren't cool, but man, yours were better, more sinister and real looking...and came first.
...me thinks something is rotten in NJ. :) Like Sara said, you could totally kill at that scarecrow contest.

The images have become almost iconic, to the point that googling " scarecrow" inevitably brings up two, or three, or ten images that began from this lil site right here. I'm in a couple Facebook groups dedicated to Halloween and a couple " prop builders" have rot images as profile pics which always puzzled me...

I know with mine I've tried to put my own spin on them, clearly inspired by P. Rot, but tweaked some...although one of the faces on my latest creeps a little too close for comfort. At this point I'm surprised there aren't pumpkinrot scarecrow look alike contests, wondering how you would do in that?

I'm sticking with Appleseed, still my favorite. Just an awesome, perfect rendition IMO, though Tin Man is a dark horse second.
