Ya know i gotta be honest. NJ is not paradise i get that. But we in NJ have this constant issue with moving to PA. The living is cheaper, its not all that far and from the looks of it the fall there must be great. I don't get my own hesitation sometimes. I HATE Philly, thats for sure but the country seems nice. Maybe Im thrown off buy the questionable looking people I seen in the areas around the poconos and such, reminds me of Deliverence. But I can definitely see autumn being amazing out there

Not sure my prior message went through. Girl6, sorry didn't mean to stir the pot, Philly and I just don't get along. And as far as the Poconos thing, didn't mean to generalize. Rot what part of North Jersey where ya from? Sussex and further west can be pretty nice looking

Up around Pompton Lakes...loved taking 287 back to PA.

Funny you say that because I always take 287 north when I take my trips up to Salem. Around the Pompton Lakes area is where it starts feeling "fall like" to me. Right around where those stone highway barriers start. I go to that record store in Pompton Lakes all the time. My fiancé also went to Ramapo and up around that area is beautiful. Bergen County is amazing in the fall, to bad its soooo expensive to live there.
