Such a cool store.

The one we have in Park City Mall was VERY lame. No props, just costumes. I'll have to search for another one around here.

Woooo, great photos. Love the one through the eye of a nasty bloody hole, lol.

I was there last night. Trying to figure to enhance the graveyard. Can I borrow a couple hundred bucks? Anyone?

Did this store have those shimmering LED lights? They had them near me (Massachusetts) and they were really cool. Made me think of the "Prince of Darkness" effect. It was a small fixture with some kind of rotating lens or filter in it, and it created a shimmering light that was something like a slow motion flame or something. Very cool look. Couple of different color options, too.

it did.
and they looked really neat.
they didn't have any plugged in though.

Fire and ice.

That's it. Looked like great lighting for a static prop. The red one called to me.

the yard haunter lives in a golden age these days. We have a lot of neat things available to us. And relatively cheap too.
Remember the old days?
NOBODY had a fog machine...and they were expensive.
We were talking about that the other night, how the old timers from our youth who had record albums playing and dry ice in buckets and REAL caskets on their lawns were Legends.

Yes!!! And then there was the person who managed to get their hands on a hearse...

exactly!
gold, man.

Owned 4 hearses myself. Very bitter mistresses who are always needing some sort of body work, mechanical work or just general attention. Not sure I would own one again. The old ones only really like 93 octane and that gets pricey real fast at 9 mpg.

hardcore, man.

The tattoo shop I work at bought a bunch of those fire lights. We have them aimed at the walls of the shop to illuminate the art on the walls. A great effect.

Also, these are some really great pics. Really great. Makes what are in truth some fairly cheesy props seem world class. Good stuff.

In the old days, people in my home town would actually chain themselves to the porch, then shake and scream like crazy when the TrT victims would go up on the porch. Good stuff.

Did I just read somebody has owned 4 HEARSES??? Dammit. I can't even get ahold of one.

Funny how we are referring to those days as "Old Days"

Our's still isn't open yet. HalloweenExpress, however, has been since last month.

I went yesterday and they had just opened. I was the ONLY person in there. Quiet and eerie. I like the witch that collects the screaming children in her lantern!! I think you have a photo of her head there. Got a 20% off coupon in the mail. Am going to save it for something Very special. I'll go back for sure and ponder the landscape. Oh and btw if I ever find an authentic horse-drawn hearse I may have to mortgage the house.

We bought the zombie garden gnome last year. Love him and left him in the garden all year. Our puppy decided to eat one of his hands and his nose off his face.....but he still looks fantastic!!

The Spirit near us had working fire and ice spot lights. AMAZING! We're going back to get some. 1: they're LED so they stay cool. Our regular spot lights get so freakin hot.
and 2: they looked sooooooo cool! We want to get the red and the green..because together they looked even better.
