Just got back from seeing The Witch.
We loved it. I'd have to use the word exquisite.
A perfect horror film packed with atmosphere.
Organic atmosphere.

that lovely soundtrack makes me feel like i'm in church.+++
i hope black phillip's big handsome ol face is on the cd cover art.
exquisite...that's a great word for this movie, especially the ending...those beauties doing witchy things. it's all i ever wanted!..<3
AWPumpkin...
your comment had too many spoilers for folks who didn't see it yet!
haha
Oh gosh- so sorry! I forgot about spoilers! Forgive me! Thanks for saving me though! We all know what happens to people who spoil movies on the internet...even Black Phillip would want nothing to do with me.
haha
We loved this film.
looking forward to owning it and making it an autumn tradition.
hmmmm. maybe will have to go see it.
we're glad we made the effort to see it in the theater.
we were really tempted to just wait for it, but i'm happy we didn't.
This makes me want to see it in a theater now.
I like the big screen, but not all of the people.
I had a feeling you would...going out on a tree trunk of a limb. The look of it was just gorgeous, so believable and that score, like 6 said, church, church of mystical, organic horror. Great film.
Cool.
I'm tempted to go. I too prefer to wait for films to come out on disc, but it sounds like this deserves a big screen. As does Phillip. And Rot, your 'organic atmosphere' reference makes it all the more appealing.
I just learned that Black Phillip has his own twitter page.
When November rolls around, I am voting for Black Philip.
awwww!!!!..the tap tap of little cloven hooves..<3
goooo get em b.p.
i'm in Love!
oops...i meant on twitter of course.
So glad you liked it! I loved it! Must see it again!
I KNEW y'all would love the score! It's just AMAZING! I can't stop listening to it myself!
Yes, it was the best new creepy movie I've seen in a looooong time. Loved it!
