This is an amazing film, I was lucky to see it last year. It's being released on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 6th. Hands down my favorite Halloween movie.

My jaw continues to swing over this movie. It's hard to be patient when I know something I've wanted for two years will finally be in my hands come October.

And what's more: the official website is on-line. Not only is there a Sam fan-art contest to be judged by Dougherty himself, but you can download the movie score!

AHHH!!! The new trailer says just "October" instead of Oct. the 6th... I don't want to wait anymore!

I was disappointed that this didn't have a wide release in the theaters, but at least it's coming out on DVD!

I'm hoping they don't push it off anymore. God knows, we've been waiting too damn long for this movie, and I'm still as excited for it now as I was two years ago!

I did a blog on my frustration over this movie's lack of release a while back. I've been eagerly awaiting this flick ever since I saw the trailer over two years ago!! While I'm relieved it is getting a home video release, it irritates me to no end that it never got the theatrical run it deserves. The best reviewed horror film in years doesn't make it to theaters? WB must be run by a bunch of brain damaged chimps!!!

I've been looking forward to this for a long tie too, and now I have three more reasons to look forward to it!

It's set in Ohio, where I live, and just this morning, I got done Huluing the last few episodes of Dead Like Me and now I see two of the regular cast members of that show are in the movie.
