Nope. Not thrilling me. Just looks like another vampire movie with a stolen name. Just like tonight I was looking through Fear Net's movies and I saw a movie title "Dark Days" and read the info on it. It was basically the same as "30 Days of Night".

"That's a terrible vampire name: Jerry?!" Pretty funny. Hope it's a good remake!

I'm excited, but unsure about this one. I always wanted to see a version of it that was more terror and less goofiness.

I'm not sure either.
I want it to be good and a nice tribute, but I wasn't digging the vibe at all. Hopefully it's just Rushed Trailer Syndrome.

Chris Sarandon, according to the director, has a cameo. I wish Stephen Geoffreys had a cameo as Evil Ed's dad. "I TOLD you...there'snosuchthing as vampiresssshh!!!"

Jay's Shadow - Dark Days is the sequel to 30 Days of Night. :)

Meh.

It looks a bit too surreal, unlike the original which is the whole that-could-be-my-street feel.

And where's Billy Cole?! When he said "Y'all come in", everyone in the theater here whispered "he said y'all".

Again, and I hope I'm wrong, meh.

Yeah, I'm trying VERY hard to have faith.

Marrow- Crap. If I would of known it was a sequel to 30 Days of Night, I would of watched it. Comcast did not mention it was one.

I get the sense that we just saw all the best parts of the movie in the trailer, and the rest will be garbage.

Maybe it's just that I'm sick of Hollywood plundering my favorite movies for profit.

Loaned out my copy of The Fog to my 23-year-old housekeeper, who said she couldn't see an old movie like that being creepy. She brought it back and told me she was totally creeped out and why did they do a lame remake? My reply:

"Welcome to my disappointing little world."

Hmmmm...could have potential, but I'm rather underwhelmed. On the plus side, this should mean that the original should get a Blu-Ray release in the near-future!
