The Innkeepers

Going to be watching the new Ti West film tonight on-demand.

Click below for the trailer (not crazy about the preview - they tried to make it look like Insidious [a film I detested])...

You will have to let me know how it is. I always hate renting or buying horror movies anymore for fear that they turn out to be bad,B-rated,stupid,crappy special effects movies....

will do.
And it's expensive...$9.99 on demand.

lame

This looks pretty awesome! I am also so glad to hear that you detested Insidious (or as my friends call it "in-shit-ious") cause I did too. Anyway this hopefully will be much better! Can't wait to check it out!

Damn. I'm glad I didn't decide to watch Insidious....

Wait, what? What was wrong with Insidious? It was one of the best horror films of the year. It built tension and fear the old fashioned way. It sort of came apart near the end of the film, but I'm a little shocked to find you hate it so much...

Been waiting awhile for this to finally be available to watch. I loved The Roose and House of the Devil.

Rot have you ever seen Lightning Bug?

This looks awesome.
Always a sucker for a good haunted house movie.

And I really loved Insidious.

I'm just not a fan of Wan's directing. Too many jump scares, and every single time he pulled one, it lingered way longer than it should have. His timing is way way off. The goofy ghost hunters and their ridiculous equipment, the modest family in an exceptionally un-modest house, and the ventriloquist dummy-like ghosts with twitchy movements...
Maybe I expected too much because the trailer was so fantastic.

Glad I got your review. I am way to expectational for that sort of stuff.

YES, I agree fully about insidious. I kinda loved the first 15 or 20 minutes...but once the "psychic" and ghost hunters arrived...UGH. So sad...it had potential.

Hahaha. I never knew if you ended up liking Insidious or not. LOL. UGH, it was AWFUL. Just.....AWFUL. My brother who loves all horror of all kinds was like, "What?! You didn't love it?!" and he just lost all credibility with me. Wow. Wow. I can't even....just, wow.

That film sucked.

LOL! UUUUGH and the stupid paranormal Geek Squad. My husband and I were so dang disappointed with that movie. Although, I personally really liked the red devil demon guy.
