The Art Of Jamie Heiden

From her site:
All of my finished images start with a photograph I’ve taken. I really do get the most satisfaction out of this beginning moment. From there, utilizing tools on my computer; my virtual darkroom, I add layers of additional images – sometimes creating a new reality but more often just showing a little slice of what I saw at that moment in time. Painting with my mouse as my brush is what it feels like and painterly is definitely a resulting affect. But it’s the texture, color and depth that are my drivers. And simplicity and story, my inspiration.

I knew you'd dig it.
When I first saw it, I thought they were painted with watercolors.
