Looks great! I'd kind of grown weary of the found footage thing but this looks to be a different take, different direction altogether. Been jonesing....for this, can't wait.

Any word on sequel, Jones2? Mild mannered 9 to 5er secretly works on spectacularly amazing scarecrows in off hours, inspires legions of followers, together they begin covering the landscape with unsettling art which comes to life on October 31st, plunging the nation into a Halloween unlike any other? One that may never end....

haha...totally.

No word yet...hopefully if sales on the dvd/rentals are good, they'll talk about one.

Dude..your pieces look SICK!

Not sure if this makes any sense, but some of the scenes give off an H6 vibe..to me at least.

You can mark me down for the Blu Ray :)

You are Mr. Jones right? I love the premise, such a cool way to meld a bit of reality with fantastical horror (at least I believe that you aren't a serial killer). I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.

Although the "found footage" aspect might turn some folks off, this is kinda different since the main character is attempting to make a high-end documentary, so most of the footage is fluid and clear and stylized and steady.

So that's very cool.

I showed this to people at work today and a couple folks said "dude, that's about YOU."

And you blankly stared at them and said "yes, it is"
I hope! :D

I can't believe its been almost a year since seeing this at the Tribeca Film Festival. One of my most memorable times last year...or decade for that matter.

Love the trailer....very well done. The film definitely has PumpkinRot written all over it. I kept saying that it looks like a PumpkinRot documentary.

I really think you should make the mask for interviews....

....jus sayin

Crazy, right?
And two years since I built them.

This is so awesome, Rot!! Look at all those beautiful scarecrows! And I thought the exact same thing watching the trailer, "This movie is actually all about him!" So awesome, man.

I totally understand now. This movie is about me trying to find Rot and meet him in real life. The guys name is even Scott in the movie hehe.

Seriously though, this movie really seems to be the story of Pumpkin Rot and how no one knows what he looks like. :)
