I'm not big on behind-the-scenes shots, but I feel like these ladies still retain all of their dignity in the photo below. And I dig that it shows off her pot belly. I imagined they ate a lot of swamp creatures, like bullfrogs and snapping turtles.

Yes, they are the 3 Graces..Beauties!!
yeah, sweet little pooh bear belly. lots of rumbly & grumbly going on for sure with such a gourmet diet.<333
i love the natural light shot.
Crazy Awesome Amazing- only you could get me out of this slump I'm in at the moment- I love these ladies so much!
Yeah, it's cool to see them without the tree stump. Beautiful ladies
yes, Adam is right. they are True Beauties in any light. : )
LOVE these witches. Could picture one them sitting in a corner of a room.
Nice to see them in this format. The pot belly is a lovely touch...I imagine they've just had a delicious feast of newborn babe sauteed in a white wine sauce, topped with lizard tails
I think the reason your props are always so "next level" is that you're so good at capturing realistic posture and anatomical form. It makes all the difference, from a dummy and a prop that looks like it could be alive.
Ps long time, no talk.
great to see you back, man! : )
yeah...I think the singular most important element of static prop haunting is making the prop look like it's at rest for a brief moment...and not frozen in time. Building scarecrows takes that pressure away...
Agree. These three look eerily similar to a trio of great aunts I had, sitting around the kitchen, making something none of us kids had any interest in tasting. Very natural...nonchalant like.
these ladies are absolutely beautiful!
These are some of my favorite props you have made. I love seeing them in this environment. I love how prepared you are, all built and setting up in the summer. Someday I hope to be that prepared.
Side note: I always assumed your “main” or focal point props for each display sat back just off the porch to the right of your door. I never realized you actually rest them on the porch itself. This shot shows just how great a master you are at disguising a scene that your porch completely disappears.
