we got talked into seeing it last week. we rode all the way out to King of Prussia. & it was around 5:00 too, ugh, the traffic. there weren't many people there. mostly all guys. it was good, but, it was off somehow. i am very interested to hear what you think. the pace felt off, like, there aren't any ups or downs, no roller coaster ride. it's all just straight ahead action. i think you need soft spots to really make a horror movie effective. and there's a lot of focus on the creeper's face. SOOOO many closeups. idk. he didn't look corny or disappointing, but, idk..SO MUCH with the close. i guess what i'm feeling are editing problems? idk. it's not bad tho. & it IS Scary too. i need to watch it again. maybe, watching it a 2nd time is what i need.
ohhhhh & we saw Suspiria on the big screen last week too. also at King of Prussia. we drove out earlier in the day tho, so, it wasn't as bad. the theatre was pretty full. good mix of ladies & dudes. Ohhhhh My God. we had never watched it before on a BIG screen. so, it really felt like a different movie. felt like it was actually the first time i ever watched it. the music..the colours..i still CAN'T get over it. Absolutely Amazing. it really proved to me what a master Dario Argento is & at the same time...he's definitely NOT appreciated enough ether. SO Good.
tkts for the creeper were full price. ugh, i do NOT like paying full price for a movie. but, we had never caught a creeper film on the BIG screen before & the theatre was pretty empty, so it was ok.
Now..tkts for Suspiria were only $5.00 & that's steal. plus, while the theatre was more filled up, it was STILL very comfortable & ONLY hardcore fans, so it was ALL good. Plus...Argento on the BIG screen IS a Must!!!
AMC Theatres are offering $5.00 horror (older) movies during the month of October. Fright Night was shown last Tuesday, i think. i would LOVE to catch more of them, but, what can you do.
Considering all the shit going on with Harvey Wienstein I wouldn't think SyFy would touch this release so soon after all the similarities with Victor Salva. Probably banking on people not paying attention. I thought it was weird that AHS ran a notice at the beginning of the last episode that they had edited all the gun violence out due to the Vegas shootings. But it sure seemed unedited to me.. As ridiculous as that show is..
i didn't know about the whole Victor scandal until sorta recently. it is really horrible what he did to that little boy. he IS a very lucky man to be walking around & still making movies that are released on any level. & i feel weird for liking & supporting the Creeper series. i mean, it's pretty obvious that he totally lusts after young boys when you watch the Creeper movies. the way the Creeper craves their scents. brrrrr
Michael Vick..Harvey Weinstein..Victor Salva..Trump. SO Horrible. i despise these men. yet, i went to a Creeper movie.. : (
There were a lot of other people besides Victor Salva who put blood and sweat into these films so I see it for them - while boycotting him. He's not invited to my house. EVER. Same with Harvey or Polanski etc.

Wait, it is showing on Syfy??? Does this mean gore and swearing is cut out?
I hope this isn’t a sign cause most movies on Syfy are crap..........
