Random Things

We went to a favorite Mexican restaurant and walked into a haunted house.  You have to love when a severed head is dangling from the ceiling in an eatery.  The entire ceiling was covered in three layers of spider webs.  There were giant spiders everywhere.  On the way out I looked back to make sure we didn't leave anything (paranoid) and as I turned back around my face clipped a large spider's leg and its big furry butt.  A proud moment in a crowded restaurant.

This wasn't the guy I got to know...

Drove around the neighborhood one night this week trying to find Halloween decorations.  Not too many as yet, but found this fun house...

And we saw this creepy scarecrow in the front of a school that normally does a scarecrow event, and this year had more scary ones than previous years...so there's hope.

It warms my heart to see that at least some people are keeping the spirit of Halloween alive, and ignoring all the theocrats who want to make Halloween a thing of the past.

Sounds like a lovely evening (except for the spider butt; ha)! I like the lawn with blue light. The way the cross is lit makes it almost seem like it's made of glass! Cool effect.

Perhaps you are inspiring others to do the spooky scarecrow thing.

Awwww... I wish ANY of the places we go to eat would acknowledge Halloween.

Awesome sights to see! Our favorite Mexican restaurant has a life-size werewolf animatronic in the waiting area. Pretty fun stuff!

I was kind of waiting around to see if anybody mentioned it but nobody has.
You were drunk, weren't you? Pfft, running into spider butts. Lightweight. LOL. ;) C'mon! Margueritas, right?

Also Mexicans know best how to celebrate every holiday, it's in our blood!:)

so i have no excuse as to why my face met the furry soft buttocks of a large arachnid

(an etymologist would scream 'that's not it's buttocks!")
