Porch Decorations

Started the first phase of the porch decor yesterday after work.  We drank pumpkin beer and listened to spooky tunes.  And a neighborhood Halloween cat even stopped by to check it all out.

Looks great! Plan on getting our "pre-haunt" lighting/decorations up towards the end of the week.

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing that!

Looks very cool, I'm surprised you don't have a Halloween kitty of your own.

Thanks, Mr M!

Nice! Love that kitty! We have an HOA, they're not too overbearing except for holiday decorations being put out early. I have to wait until the middle of October to start decorating.the yard.

Thanks!

It looks very autumnal and inviting, and even got the feline stamp of approval (high praise, indeed)! Orange lights and corn stalks; true harbingers of the season, and it's just wonderful to see.

I hope that everyone is finding the opportunities to slow down and do some of these seasonal things.

It will all go by so fast if we let it.

Thanks, RM! Totally agree about the season... we're going to try to keep it from flying.

Beautiful tribute to the season.....as you always do. The marigolds add some good orange color and I think I see opal basil behind it? Corn stalks and warm lighting....perfection.

Thank you! Really appreciate that!

What I really like is the orientation of the porch where you come up from the side. It's a perfect Halloween house design for maximum anticipatory effect. Love it.

Sooo grateful for that side approach
