I was JUST about to go to his website after looking at yours for some inspiration - ahahaha of course you posted a perfectly convenient link for me. [Do you have a method for when you seem to have creative blocks?]
I guess I'll just walk away from something for a while if I'm not feeling it. For me, it's always been about giving something time to sit. Fortunately I'll usually come back to it in a day and realize where I went wrong or I'll see what I need to add or take away.
I guess that works both with pieces already in progress and if I'm trying to think of something brand new to build. I'll walk away until I feel it again.

Probably a lame answer.
