I mused at the first PROMETHEUS entry that I was greatly puzzled on the "fossilized" Space Jockey chair of the original ALIEN and how that visually contradicts the new and clean looking Space Jockey chair of this film (specially when this film is suppose to take place less than 50 years before the events of the original ALIEN). This could be Ridley Scott exercising his artistic-license by simply ignoring any visual contradictions with his first film. The nearly fetishistic attention to detail and continuity that fanboys like myself adhere to may simply not matter to Scott's vision. With that said, I still damn well want an explanation to the differences between the two movies! ;-) I hope we do get them when it's all said and done.
