Love the cartoon - as always. That said, I would hand out old-school full size candy bars if that would help my uptight neighbors get into the spirit of Halloween!
HA. I limit myself what I buy for the haunt every year. Bucky's can be expensive. My parents bought me one for Christmas one year. Asked for another this year.
And if the trick or treaters are going to pay me in candy, it BETTER be in Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
My nephew just started toting this year (he’s one) and he doesnt quite understand the concept. After the first house he kept trying to trade his one candy for the candy the people at the next house were offering. It was cute.

I'm down with that! I'll even accept coffee or cider or mulled wine! This sounds like a great plan :)

I've always been fortunate...my expenditures are relatively low since all of my stuff is pretty much low cost paper/cardboard/pvc pipe/duct tape.
I don't even want to admit how much money I have sunk into my haunt lol!
