Really happy with this year's photos. They capture exactly how the Haunt looked on Halloween.

Pure Halloween perfection, love it!
This is my all time favorite. That devil is so wicked looking, it's insane. Where did you get the pic/story at the top of the gallery?
The Rot panic / Bean to the rescue story made me laugh out loud. I can relate! Anytime we have to go somewhere, when we first get in the car Amy asks me..what's you anxiety level...it's usually an 8 :(.
Holy moly. Where do I begin? The black and white shots are so guud. The the evil triplets are different colors - genius. So much to say here but I am slightly overwhelmed right now. But yeah -- pure perfection.
These are STUNNING! Truly STUNNING!
I can't get over how beautiful your lighting is this year.
Thanks!
That lantern was something I made to fit the scene...I found a Witch and a Ghost in the same lantern design, but added the Devil from a different lantern...photoshop-forcing something to fit my needs : )
I made the poem up too...to fit the Haunt.
And the judges cards read.. 10, 10, and 10!
Outstanding work. Would love to have seen this in person!
Blue lights= black pumpkins. Love that effect..
Really really love this!
Oh yeah -- Bean IS cool.
This is what Halloween looks like
Your haunts never cease to amaze. Both you and Bean's imaginations together are perfect. No stopping with your paper mâché and her jackolantern carving skills.
Can I rent Bean for a day next year?
Stunning! Easily your best haunt since "Corn Witch"! Keep up the great work, my friend!
Just amazingly awesome! You bring a smile to my face with every design. You and Bean are some great team. :)
Dang, these are some AWESOME pics. I think the Ghost is my favorite. I really love the b&w pics.
Beautiful, scary, creepy pictures!!! Oh, how I so love the pumpkins! The three friends around the cauldron are so creepy with the fog and the lighting! Did the kids scream? I hope that they did! I love the screaming and this display has a lot of scream factor! Well Done!
I LOVE the ghost, go figure:) You guys are such a great team. I love that aspect of different input. I'm afraid I get a little barky just before the big night, Kyle is so patient with me. I love the corridor you guys put together, and I agree with the other commentators- the lighting was perfect. I'm going to pour over these photos for a long time. The daylight ones are great.
You all truly outdid yourself! Both In content and photo quality! Great job!
That ghost. Possibly your finest, and that is saying something. Love that ghost.
Awesome job guys! Both the work and the pictures look incredible. Love those shots in the day the most, and I agree that ghost is da bomb. :)
I also agree that the day shots are my favorite.
Whenever I get frustrated with putting our yard haunt together with just my wife and I, I always think about what Ms. Bean and yourself manage to accomplish each year. Nothing short of spectacular once again! I do see a little style difference from years past I think, can't put my finger on it. Did you do something different than you normally do building your characters? Ms. Bean's pumpkins, the perfect accent! Video soon I hope!?
Mark,
I tried incredibly hard to build with a style that was more "fun" than I was normally used to doing...I wanted the characters to be slightly exaggerated. The Ghost's face is longer than something I'd normally make...and the Witch's jaw and two teeth are something that made me laugh since it wasn't what I normally like doing.
So I guess I tried to be a little different and lighter.
Yes, that's it exactly, a little whimsy to the characters I think. Great job!
The Ghost is so eerie. He steals the scene from the other two. Great hearing how Bean offers insights. Lighting is the toughest to get right-at least for me-my neighbor saves me usually. It's great to have others offering suggestions/critiques-you always benefit from another's perspective.
Every year, you push the envelope even further. Again and again, you raise the bar for all of us home haunters! Amazing work, all the way around.
Crazy to think I've now been following you regularly for over 10 years. I don't even recall how I originally discovered you... it's like, you were always a part of me.
I've been there since the beginning : )
I was just thinking the other day how I can't believe I've been Haunting for decades.
My blog has over 9,000 posts. Insane.
