Uhm....but he’s invited to our Imaginary Dinner Of All the Cool People We’d Invite If We Had Said Dinner. He’s on our A list.
I’m sure you’re just a casual fan.

I thought I caught a glimpse of this on YouTube.

Split was an EXCELLENT movie. I don’t think I’ve seen a bad movie by M.Night.

apparently Sara has seen some that have "sucked." I, on the other hand, have loved ALL of them...even Lady in the Bathtub.

Lady in the Bathtub?! I haven’t heard of this one........... I need to see.

That’s because Sara likes the “Techno” version of the Halloween theme.

OMMGGGG...i am SO Excited!!!!
that philly boy IS A PROPHET.

he has had this trilogy planned for yrs. in the first one Unbreakable..the psycho dude who kidnaps..tortures & kills some of that poor family was supposed to be The Beast. But..Manoj had a change of heart with the script & did a rewrite. honestly, for me, BEST comic book/superhero movies/series out there. Chronicle is in the same style as well.

i recently saw his contribution to the Rear Window/Hitchcock documentary. one of the BEST reviews i've ever heard of any movie really for that matter. got to catch a glimpse of him a few months back when he was doing some filming around Rittenhouse Square...Gahhhhhhhhhhh.

girl6, I too find that this is my personal fave superhero tale. EVER.

never knew that about the Orange Man...

I find it very interesting that Dunn has chains on in the poster like he's in prison or something... and it would be totally self punishment as he could break those chains and bust out whenever he wants.

assuming.

sara...totally a liar.

can only speak for myself... jay might never lie.
though he likes dogs more than cats...so who knows.

HAHA.

I tell my own truth, so I don’t consider them lies. :D

(Puppy dogs are the best)

def self punishment. as superheros are tied to deep suffering. they live dual lives & can NEVER save the people they truly love. the people they love slip thru their fingers while they are able to save strangers. it's a rough & lonely life. each character in this poster is pictured in their broken realities & then their alter/arch egos.

i LOVE ALL of Manjo's films. i take a lot of flack for admitting to that in certain instances. But..i gotta..cause it's how i really feel. his stories are SO beautiful to me. his stories are full of hope for the everyday man & world. Look at Signs..what's it really about? it's NOT about Aliens..or the world being taken over..NO. it's about finding your self & faith again when you think ALL in your life is lost..when there's nothing left for you. i cried at the end when Rev, Hess puts his collar back on because he found home again. he found his faith again. he found himself.

i LOVE Lady in the Bathtub as you call it. hahahaha. Look at Cleveland..he thinks he doesn't have a purpose in life. thinks he doesn't matter. BUT..who turns out to be the true healer? it's Cleveland all along. the Healer is just an everyday lost in the mix kinda guy like Cleveland. his caring is the real Magic in that film.

Even Mr. Glass is lovely in his sadness. he loves David Dunn/thinks of him as his best friend. i CANNOT WAIT to see what Glass will do!?!?!?

& i was SO disappointed that McAvoy didn't win an Oscar. i really wanted him to win for that outta this world performance.

Rot said...

McAvoy really deserved seven oscars for that performance.
I've never seen anything like that in my life.

Dude's amazing

I'm pretty excited about this. I'll admit, I had lost faith in M a while back, but Split totally brought me back. This being the sequel to my two favorite films of his bodes well.
