Beautiful picture. So many broken ankles would occur on that trail if it were used. That could be the "fear" aspect of it.
Made me think of this:THE FRIGHTENED PATHby Abbie Farwell BrownThe wood grew very quietAs the road made a sudden turn; Then a wavering, furtive path crept outFrom the tangled briar and fern."Where does it lead?" I asked the child; She shivered and shook her head."It does n't lead to any place,It is running away!" she said."It is running away on tiptoeThrough the untrodden grass,To join the cheerful highroad,Where real, live people pass."It runs from a heap of ruinsWhere a home stood in old days; But nothing living goes there now,And — Nothing Living stays!"
....even though lighting in that area would look great.
Wow, looks just like where I grew up! I loved taking trails through the woods!Hummmm....Now I know where my dark side comes from :)Nice poem....Cheers!
