I agree. More creepy scarecrows in movies with all practical effects.
And make them look different from the expected norm of guys in suits.

yeah..for some reason the scarecrow feels slighted to me especially in the horror movie genre. there's so much that could be done with them too, such a shame.
a lot of my favourite scarecrow moments have come from tv shows..i've always loved the "scarecrow" ep of "friday the 13th the series" (a cursed scarecrow of course..haha).."goosebumps".."the scarecrow walks at midnight"..& the 3rd season of "doctor who".."human nature"..they even have their own action figure.

Hammer’s Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures and Disney’s Scarecrow of Romney Marsh - both excellent retellings of the old Dr. Syn book. Highly regarded classic gothic scarecrow tales. Every Halloween at least one makes the rotation.
