Haunted Air
By Ossian Brown.
A book of anonymous vintage Halloween photographs, with a forward by David Lynch.
First heard about this book on K.O.'s wonderful Halloween blog, and now I see it's out of print and out of stock and some clowns are trying to sell it at insanely high prices.
Here's to a re-issue (or a freak find at a yard sale).

The Innkeepers
Going to be watching the new Ti West film tonight on-demand.
Click below for the trailer (not crazy about the preview - they tried to make it look like Insidious [a film I detested])...

Giger: Artist And Haunter
Thus I could combine my two hobbies - my enthusiasm for railways and my penchant for the morbid and the fantastic - in this one object, the ghost train. I built human skeletons from cardboard, wire, and plaster, and trained coloured lights on them with a pocket torch. My playmates were dressed in white sheets, or were hidden along the track operating mechanisms which raised the lid of a coffin, moved a hanged man slightly on a branch, or opened the jaws of a hideous monster.
As a huge H.R. Giger fan, I was thrilled to find a gift under the tree which I probably should have always owned - H.R. Giger's Necronomicon. It's beautiful, and in addition to being packed with his brilliant artwork, there are some amazing tales of his youth and his path towards Alien.
Check it out here.
